St Cuthberts school have enhanced their remarkable Kahunui facility, which is a unique and very special part of the St Cuthberts campus, located within the Waiotahi Valley in the beautiful Te Urewera national park.
This project required a balance of durability and low maintenance needed in educational facilities, blended with the natural beauty within this valley setting.
Ultraclad aluminium cladding, finished in a Metwood Light Cool Cedar was chosen to provide a natural timber look finish that will protect the facility for the long term. The same Ultraclad boards were installed as cladding and soffits, to provide a consistent look throughout the facility, which will retain its consistency over time given the hard-wearing properties of Metwood finishes.
