WHYPOWDER COAT?

Powder coating provides a durable, uniform finish which is resistant to scratching, chipping, fading and wear. A wide range of colours and finish types are available, and are suitable for both interior and exterior use. Powder coating is harder and thicker than wet paint, and it is an environmental friendly process as no VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are used.

Powder coating is a finishing process where a decorative and protective coating can be applied to a wide range of products. The process involves spraying finely ground, electrostatically charged particles of pigment and resin onto a surface. The charged powder particles are attracted to the electrically earthed surface, and then heated and fused in an oven, providing a smooth finish.

Warranties can be provided for up to 20 years, if the powder coated item is properly prepared and washed regularly.

OURSERVICES

Blasting

We have a sandblasting and grit blasting facility on site, and can pre-treat items with a light sand sweep blast right through to a full grit blast.

Stripping

For items which are not robust enough to blast, we have the on-site capability to strip back to a bare surface.

Powder Coating

We have a variety of spray booths and oven configurations which can be tailored to the specific requirements of each job, whether long run or small and oddly shaped components.

Wet Spraying

As an approved applicator, we can provide warrantied, industrial, wet spraying services for a wide range of products at our purpose built premises.

QUALITYSUPPLIERS

We only use high quality powders from recognised suppliers Dulux, PPG and Interpon. We can offer 5, 10, 15 and 20 year warranties, which are fully tested and endorsed by our suppliers.
